We can assure everyone that their donations will always be put to very good use here at the Animal Shelter and help us give our many cats, dogs and other small animals another chance in life.

Furthermore, we can say that all donations made to us at the Southport Animal Shelter are retained here for our use only. You may know that the Branch, like each Branch of the Society, relies solely on the generosity of local people to support our work in the area. We receive no financial support from the lottery or national RSPCA funds towards our day-to-day running costs.

Your Animal Shelter in New Cut Lane costs a lot to run. Part is met from the charges made when animals are re-homed.Our Charity Shop in Eastbank Street Southport, store collections and our Fun Dog Shows but all of this still leaves an enormous gap which is met by other fund-raising, legacies, covenants and direct support from Members, Friends and the public.
