Did you know that The Southport, Ormskirk & District Branch of the RSPCA is a separately Registered Charity responsible for meeting all of its running costs?
All the (considerable) costs of running our Branch are met from money raised locally.
Charges made for adoptions, the sale of pet foods together with other Animal Shelter income does not meet all of our running costs. Money also comes from the Charity Shop, collections and fund-raising events such as Fun Dog Shows - but unfortunately all of this still does not meet the bills.
Legacies provide the Branch with a valuable source of income not only to meet the day-today running costs of the Animal Shelter but also provides the funds to undertake capital projects such as the new Kennels.
Have you thought of remembering the Southport Ormskirk and District Branch of the RSPCA in your Will?
This is easy to do - even if you have already written your Will - your solicitor can easily prepare the paperwork. In order to ensure that your local RSPCA Branch benefits from your generosity please ensure that you say that you wish your legacy to go to the “Southport Ormskirk and District Branch of the RSPCA, Charity No. 232258”.
For further assistance please contact the Branch Secretary either via the Shelter or by telephone on 01 704 567 624 - and on behalf of the animals in our care – “thank you”.
